London Eye

Have you ever been to London? I was in London twice… when I attended language school in the 80s… but that doesn’t count…. really. So I haven’t been there since we came here to the UK.
But Tobias was in London twice in just one week! And I handed our pocket camera over hoping that he might snap some nice pics! And he did! So today you are going see the first layout with a photo of London – there will be more to come!

So, what about this?! Look at the colours! They are popping right out of the layout! Do you know which new papers they are? Of course – the new line from American Crafts – Amy Tangerine “Sketch Book”! Not yet in the shops but very soon!

The word London is stitched on the black CS – it took me about two hours (while chatting to Carole ) and I was swearing in between. Glad I finished it – I LOVE it!

With the collection comes a stamp set which I used for this label on the top of the layout and for the frames where I put my journaling in.

I used a new punch by Fiskars – Jenni Bowlin – Border Punch – Main Street which seemed very suitable for this page.
And what will you see tomorrow?! Hm…. I think I got some My Mind’s Eye for you…

Warst du schon mal in London? Ich schon. Zweimal sogar. Als ich zu Sprachreisen in den 80ern hier unterwegs war. Aber das zählt nicht, damals habe ich mich nicht wirklich dafür interessiert (schade eigentlich). Also defacto war ich seitdem wir hier leben noch nicht in London. Aber Tobias war dort, sogar zweimal in einer Woche (wenn man eben Termine nicht so bekommt, dass sie auf einen Tag fallen).
Ich habe ihm natürlich meine kleine Pocket Camera in die Hand gedrückt und er hat tatsächlich ein paar schöne Fotos geschossen! Heute also das erste LO mit Fotos von London!
Seht ihr diese Farben?! Die knallen ja mal so richtig! Cyan, Magenta und Gelb (und Orange) in Reinkultur – das kann nur die neue Serie von American Crafts – Amy Tangerine “Sketch Book” sein! Noch nicht ganz in den Shops, aber seeehr bald!
Das Wort “London” habe ich in den schwarzen CS genäht (das hat ganze zwei Stunden gedauert, hab ja auch nebenher mit Carole gechattet). Gut, dass ich durchgehalten habe und es am Ende so schön geworden ist!
Zu dieser Collection gehören auch wieder Clear Stamps, die ich hier fleißig benutzt habe: Die Labels mit dem Zackenmuster und die zwei Rahmen sind aus dem Set.
Außerdem auf dieser Seite – ein neuer Punch von Fiskars – Jenni Bowlin – Border Punch – Main Street – fand ich hierfür irgendwie passend!

Und was gibts morgen zu sehen?! Ich hätte da noch ein wenig My Mind’s Eye anzubieten… bis dann!
