A Place In The Clouds – STM #166

Badbury Rings near Wimborne is a stunning area with remains of a fortified settlement built 2000 – 2500 years ago. And it was a real antipole after crowded Kingston Lacy! Great views, a gigantic sky with clouds within reach – *sigh*

The title is a line from the current challenge Scrapping The Music: “Wide Open Spaces” by the Dixie Chicks. “A place in the clouds” fits perfect as well as “Wide Open Space” would have fitted, right?

I used the new paper by MME “Stella & Rose” again – this time the paper from the Hattie collection. I have heard that some don’t order these papers because they only have girls in they family and they don’t need a “male” kind of paper. How can they say so?! I don’t understand that. Do you? I would love to hear your opinion about buying paper in every colour even if you got only boys or only girls!
Happy colourful Tuesday!

  1. Mmmh, ich habe Jungs, aber trotzdem scrappe ich mit allen Farben, ich verscrappe doch nicht nur Fotos meiner Kinder! Das LO ist so wunderschön, das Foto ist einfach super. Diese Wolken, klasse!

  2. What a stunning picture! Those are amazing clouds!
And so beautifully framed by simple embellishments that highlight that great photo!

I usually just buy paper that appeals to me and then just make them work on a layout!

Thanks for joining us at STM!

  3. I don’t buy papers because it’s boy or girl, I just have to like them.
