Organisation Celebration!

Hello my lovely Ladies! Welcome to my blog and to Jennifer’s Blog Hop with a huge give-away! You should have come from Kirsty (unfortunately Jo S.‘s blogpost didn’t show up) – and her idea of great organisation!

Today I want to show you not a layout for a change, but how I organise some of my bits and bobs I own 😉
In March I finally ordered two of those Storage tower with 7×7 litre Really Useful Drawers – and they were filled immediately! Should I have ordered three instead?! 😉

So in the bottom drawers I organise my cardstock scraps (on the left) and my patterned paper scraps (on the right) – sorted by colour: browns/blacks/whites, greens/blues, yellow/oranges/reds – and the patterned paper got a colourful drawer as well! This sorting works for me – but you should try it for yourself, you might need a different solution!

In the top drawers I organise my other bits – the tiny things which will fit in there: My clear/cling stamps, dimensional things (cardboard, wood, fabric) and rub-ons, card stock sticker sheets on the left and stamp pads/chalk inks, buttons and brads on the right! I sit on the left of those drawers so as a right-handed person it’s really easy for me to access all my stash! You even can easily pull out each drawer and put it on your desk!
(And as we reached June – the drawers are really full now! I think I need to scrap even more! 😉 )

And now for the official blog-hop:
Each lovely blog along this hop has a letter for you to collect. Once you’ve got them all, and reached the end of the hop, you can email Jennifer the phrase you’ve collected. All entries must be received by Monday the 2nd of July at 11.59pm BST, and all the correct answers will be put into a draw to win a gorgeous prize package of October Afternoon 9 to 5 and Studio Calico Take Note items, worth over £25! Your next stop along the hop is Meghann!

Above you see the prize you can win – so collect the letter “L” from this blog!
(And the missing letter from Jo. S. is “P” – just to make it complete!)

    • Yes, it can be neat! And I definitely work there at the desk. If you have a look at all my layouts, you will see the “proof”. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. These drawers are fabulous, I’m so jealous of them! I like it that you can easily take them out and put them on your desk too, that must make life easier. My pizza boxes and files take up too much space on the desk, I have to sit on the floor to sift through them!

Thanks so much for joining in with the blog hop! x

  2. Those drawer stacks are fab – means you can see and get at everything you have – so actually get around to using it!

  3. I have a tower of drawers for my paper and love that I can remove a drawer and bring it to my work table to find what I’m looking for. I’ve been having a look at your blog and love your scrapping style. You’ve done some lovely pages!

  4. I sort my scraps into colours too! Those drawers look nice and sturdy – I started off with some plastic drawers but they all caved in and split etc. I think I probably tried to stuff too much weight in them!

  5. I like stashing stuff in drawers too. My favorite drawer in my studio is the one that holds my punches. I use little stacks of drawers like you have for some of my embellishments like chipboard.
