Sloop Inn aka Sliding Tackle

The Sliding Tackle!? What is she talking about! Ah – she’s talking Rosamunde Pilcher again! In some of her novels which play in Porthkerris (= St Ives) she’s referring to a pub called Sliding Tackle (= Sloop Inn). We walked past it on two different days: on the first day it was quite dull weather so no one was sitting outside and on the other day we had nice sunshine and it seemed it burst with life!Sliding Tackle - Daphne - dapfniedesign - My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste AdorbsIn “Another View” by Rosamunde Pilcher the main character Emma was even living above this pub (well, in the novel, not in real life) – and it is right in the harbour of St Ives… what a view to wake up every morning!

For this layout I used papers from the new collection by My Mind’s Eye – Cut & Paste – Adorbs. This collection does have really fun colours!

Hope you all have a great Bank Holiday Monday! x
