Happy Friday girls! How has your week been?! Some of you where a bet shocked at how quick five weeks of summer holidays can pass by as it is time to go back to school for most of you. I really do like the start of school again which means ‘normal’ working hours for me!
But a bit of holiday feeling still lives on; I still got a few photos left on my pile from our holiday in Cornwall in June (is it that long ago already?) and here is another one!
Last Sunday was time for another The Studio Challenge (we are going to inspire you every two weeks now – not only twice a month!). The inspiring word was WINGS and I thought: If I had wings, I would fly! But I don’t have any 😦 So what else would I try to fly?! Exactly – I would try Kite Surfing! Preferably at a Cornish Beach while the sun sets… A girl can dream, right?!
I used a lot of arrows and the chevron pattern to create this layout “Up!” along with some stamped patterns as well. The bold patterns of the colourful papers by My Mind’s Eye ‘Cut & Paste’ are the perfect fit to my photo with the rather muted colours!
Some more news for you: We are looking for some new DT members over at The Studio Challenges – why don’t you give it a try?! All you need to know is HERE! The call is open until the 15th of September!
Have a great weekend! I am back on Monday with a new version of a Travel Journal!
