Happy Wednesday! It is the middle of the week in the middle of August – how have your summer holidays been so far?! I have been working at our local holiday club and we have been pretty busy! Now I have a few days of which I’m looking forward to.
To keep myself (and you) in holiday/summer mode I scrapped a layout with my friend Katja in it when she and her husband Joerg were here in May. We hiked around the Isle of Portland and stopped at Church Ope Cove for a quick rest and to shoot some pics. I caught her checking the pics she took on her phone. Oh how we love our gadgets!
For this layout I used papers, stickers and embellishments from the American Crafts collection “Shoreline”. The sketch was provided by Monika, a member of Scrapbook Werkstatt’s Design Team, for August’s Sketch. I really like Monika’s use of the colours – it is quite bright and catching with the yellow sun beams in the middle. So I incorporated some punched suns on my layout as well! To finish off the page I used some golden and yellow colour mists, yellow glitter glue and some enamel dots/rhinestones. The border around the pages is painted with watercolours, really like using them at the moment!
Have a great couple of days until the weekend! Any plans yet?! Would love to hear from you!
